Eternal Marriage

Since we have had many exciting things happening in our lives lately and I just wanted to update you all on some of these happenings by posting them individually. So you are all going to get a chance to see some of the things that have kept us busy these last few weeks!

One of the most exciting things to happen to our family was that Bill's mom and her second husband Irv were able to be sealed to one another in the Logan Temple July 1, 2008.
We are truly happy for them as they are now able to be sealed to one another, to be an eternal unit if you will. It was a beautiful sealing and all of Bill's siblings and spouses were in attendance.

We, the children, held a special luncheon/reception for them in the Merlin Olsen Park. Joanna and Rosie were in charge of the food. They served chicken salad on croissants, Fruit Pizza, and assorted dainty cookies, watermelon salsa, and lemon sherbet. We asked friends to bring salads and the luncheon was well attended and received! The food was amazing and I was impressed with all of their hard work!

I was responsible for the decorations. I asked Coleen what colors she wanted and being the vibrant person that she is requested hot pink, lime green, electric yellow, neon orange and I added white and brown to the color selection. I used circles over and over again to represent eternity. We had circles in the serving platters, the fruit, the Chinese lanterns, every where I could sneak in a circle, I did! It was an amazing group effort and it went off mostly without a hitch! I love working with my sister-in-laws, we are an amazing force to be reckoned with!

Congrats Grammy and Papa, we are so happy for you, we love you both so much!! Here's to Eternity and Beyond!

LOL. I almost died of shock when I saw this picture. I had Irv for my accounting class. How funny. Well Congratulations. I am forever jealous at how easy you make having a big celebration look. Not fair. :)
