I was tagged to tell 8 things that people might not know about Liam and so here it goes!

  1. Liam has all 10 fingers and all 10 toes but his pinkie toe overlaps his second to last toe on both feet. So we say that he has "twinkle toes." It doesn't affect his gait or anything it just looks kinda funny!
  2. He's lactose intolerant and has been his whole life but sadly it took us like 18 months to figure it out since he didn't show all of the typical signs of being lactose intolerant.
  3. Liam has a taste for savory foods. Bratwurst, maple flavored sausages, mustard's, and pepperoni are some of the things he loves the most. He also LOVES Mexican food and loves authentic beans and rice and asks for it every time we drive past Rancherito's (aka Beto's) and can eat Pico De Gallo like its ketchup. He also enjoys authentic Indian food and loves rice and curry. He has a real taste for ethnic food!
  4. When it comes to swimming and water, Liam has always been fearless. He loves to swim and has always loved being in water. He will walk out on a diving board and jump into the water (with his dad swimming near by to help him) he is completely fearless and LOVES to swim.
  5. He loves to climb and would climb up our step ladder when he was only about 9 months old, he couldn't crawl but he could climb! He startled us when at 11 months old he climbed up the tall silver slide in our backyard and proceeded to slide down the slide with no fear or hesitation. He is extremely sure footed and has hardly ever had any spills, he makes me think of a mountain goat, maybe its his "twinkle toes" that gives him that extra balance or something!
  6. Liam is a social butterfly! He LOVES to be with people of all ages, he has even startled a few kids when he has approached them in the grocery store and hugged them and said, "Hi friend, play?" Bill and I just know that Liam will be the kind of child that will forever be bringing his friends home, we are actually looking forward to it and we make plans of the kind of things we want our future home to have to implement this!
  7. Liam is quite literally a miracle child. Bill and I were infertile for 8 years and Doctors couldn't explain to us why we weren't able to conceive. When we discovered that we were pregnant Bill and I were totally shocked since his due date was our 9th Wedding Anniversary! I know that Liam was an answer to my prayers and he is such a blessing to us! He to me is evidence of a loving and merciful Heavenly Father.
  8. Liam isn't actually Liam's "real" name. The name that reads on his birth certificate is actually William Price Fullmer V. He is named after his daddy who is named after his daddy, you get the picture. I didn't want to call my son little Bill, Billy, Will, or William. So one day I realized that the last 4 letters of William is actually Liam and Liam means William or little William so it was a perfect compromise between myself and Bill.
Bill and I are incredibly happy and proud of our little Liam. He is such a joy to us and we love him so very much! I now tag anyone who would like to do this as well! Thanks Jackie for the opportunity to rave about my child! I would love to pass the same opportunity onto any of you mamma's out there that want to shout out to the world how wonderful your offspring is!
Liam loves this shirt so much that we have had to buy an extra one for when its in the wash! Does anyone else have these little "indulgences" as well??

Moana this was so fun to read. I'm so glad you did it! That is so funny about the ethnic foods--how lucky! It's take me my whole life to warm up to exotic flavors. And how cool that he isn't afraid of water! It takes a lot of children a long time to be coaxed into the swimming pool (I think mine's going to be one of them!). So sorry you guys have the stomach flu. We had that last month and it was awful! I think I did about 30 loads of laundry in one week. Talton has been running a fever since last night so no worries about the playdate! We'll look forward to seeing you guys when we're all feeling better.
